Underground Oops

So I was in Paddington Underground station going down the stairs to the train, when I see this ad in the stairwell. Basically they are screens with electronic ads like the screens you have in marina mall except these are bigger.

What surprised me though was the Windows Error message smackdab in the middle of the advertisement. I don’t know who this situation is worse for, the company advertising its services, the company that maintains the ads on these screens, or Microsoft.

As a Mac lover myself, I say when in doubt, blame Microsoft :p

It can wait…

Some people call it an illness…

Some people call it a bad habit…

I like to think that I’ve turned it into an art…

If you’ve done it, I’ve procrasinated doing it! That’s my motto!

I need to run errands, I need to do reading, I need to write a paper and I need to call a bunch of people who are angry at me for not calling them in a long time…………mabi

Extra Genius

I have to say Wrigley’s are genius’s, this is one of my favorite products out there today (god I need a life). Finally someone in Chewing Gum Central realized “Hey, people seem to go through our ten packs pretty quickly, how about we make bigger packs!”.

I am one of those people that chews gum all the time, so I generally through a pack in two days max, one if people starting asking me for gum. So having a pack of 60 pieces on my desk is just so much more convenient.

Anyways, just had to share my weird excitement about the 60 pack of gum :p

Potty Food

Once upon a time I used to make fun of the college students that lived off Pot Noodles. I used to think “Yech!!!”, of course, those were the days when I was an undergraduate and had catered accommodations.

Now as a postgraduate student (you would think I would have learned to cook by now) I eat around 5 of these things a week. I actually call them food to the amusement of a lot of my friends here (they can cook).

I will admit at first I was ashamed, but now I have gotten over it and am proud to say I EAT POT NOODLES!!! (also thank God that my postgraduate degree is only one year and is nearly over)

VIP Cinescape

Yesterday I went with some friends to watch “Hairspray” at Avenues. When I went online to book the tickets it said that it was showing in the VIP cinema which is great because I really wanted to check it out.

I have to say that I was not disappointed. It seats around 22 I think, they have really nice big leather seats giving you a lot of space to sit comfortably ( I even tiraba3t at one point in my seat, 7adi halaga I know :p). The seats also recline and have leg rests which you can move up and down as you please.

There is a table between each seat where you can put your food and cup holders for your drink. Not only that but there is a guy who you can send to get you stuff if you suddenly feel hungry or thirsty throughout the movie.

I had a really great time! 🙂

My only criticisms would be that the place was freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezing cold and the screen could be bigger. I would not recommend it for action movies or movies with lots of special effects because I don’t think you would really get the movie theater experience.

This is my horoscope today

“The lightning of emotional attraction strikes and you may feel changed by your new outlook. You thought you knew what you wanted, but suddenly everything seems new and different. You are ready to pursue the object of your love or lust, yet an inner voice cautions you against moving too fast. Even if you feel like you’ve been set free, don’t do anything you’ll need to apologize for later.”
I went to work, then stayed home and watched TV.

Somehow I don’t feel like I’m living to my full potential :p
