Did you know that they can mate and procreate? Yes indeed! When she finds a mate she will usually dress him in equally ugly Burberry patterned clothing such as a Burberry pattern jumpsuit and when they have a child you can bet your ass she has dressed the little girl in a little Burberry dress or if its a boy a Burberry shirt.

These creatures are not an endangered species, if you see them in the wild, feel free to shoot them on site :p

Sorry, but I was in London and I saw a blur of Burberry while sitting in Starbucks, I look up and it is a women in a Burberry jacket, with her husband in a Burberry jumpsuit, and their daughter in a Burberry dress. First of all I thought I didn’t have to deal with these people in London in the summer usually, second of all, I’m embarresed for them.

Lastly when I was home in winter, I went to Porsche Design in Marina only to find that they had shut it down and opened a Burberry Store instead. Like the 3agad of Kuwait need more access to Burberry?!?!

Sorry its been a frustrating day, so I had to rant about something or other :p

I must say I had given up on Lacoste after they sold out and cheapened their brand by selling it in every single outlet and location possible. But they just released these limited edition sneakers which are actually pretty cool. So thumbs up Lacoste, there may be hope for you yet

They now have a new updated version of the campaign, unfortunately I can’t find a decent copy online to upload, but its in lots of magazines. They have chosen real pairs of parents and children for the ads, really smart idea.

Makes me want to buy one for the son I don’t even have yet, I’m a sucker for good advertising.

When I came to visit my campus in the south of England it was a nice sunny day and everything looked so pretty.

I arrived in September to rainy English weather with lots that just kept getting colder and rainer, now this was not a shock to me I am familiar with English weather or iljow illandeni as we call it. But I assumed it would be warmer in the south, I mean birds fly south for the winter so I assumed the logic would apply. Weeelllllllll it didnt!!!

But there have been a few sunny days in the past month which is when I took this picture, why couldnt it always be this pretty  and warm (and by warm I mean 12 degrees ). At least Im nearly done with my degree then I will be back to il7ar wil i’3bar…sigh…how I miss it.

I was in Covent Garden the other day and had to take a picture of this place after having one of their delicious jacket potatoes.

I remember eating jacket potatoes here since as long as I can remember, you always see people sitting on the step across from it pigging out. And pigeons gathered around ready to pounce on any scraps you happen to drop. I was sitting down trying not to be scared of the irreguraly large bird eyeing me and got taken over by this warm feeling, its nice to know that some things in life don’t change even if its something as small as this potatoe stall.

If you are there I recommend the baked beans and cheese.

Now my university has a business incubator where inventions created in our research departments and from the surrounding area are taken and helped turn them into a full fledged money making business.

The lesson he was trying to teach us was that the market is a living and breathing thing and will react to your innovation but not necessary in a good way.

Now for the interesting part, apparently one of the businesses was the invention of a cream that you rub on and removes hair permanently. Just like that! Imagine the implications!

But the rights to this invention were bought up by one of the big shaving companies, confidentiality agreements were signed and the cream was never heard of again.

I wonder what other things have been invented that we havnt heard of because of big corporates wanting to preserve their profits.

So I was in Paddington Underground station going down the stairs to the train, when I see this ad in the stairwell. Basically they are screens with electronic ads like the screens you have in marina mall except these are bigger.

What surprised me though was the Windows Error message smackdab in the middle of the advertisement. I don’t know who this situation is worse for, the company advertising its services, the company that maintains the ads on these screens, or Microsoft.

As a Mac lover myself, I say when in doubt, blame Microsoft :p

I have to say Wrigley’s are genius’s, this is one of my favorite products out there today (god I need a life). Finally someone in Chewing Gum Central realized “Hey, people seem to go through our ten packs pretty quickly, how about we make bigger packs!”.

I am one of those people that chews gum all the time, so I generally through a pack in two days max, one if people starting asking me for gum. So having a pack of 60 pieces on my desk is just so much more convenient.

Anyways, just had to share my weird excitement about the 60 pack of gum :p
